AIFinder.tech is a directory of AI tools and services, operated from Australia. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account to browse the directory.
- We only receive personal details if you choose to fill in one of our forms.
- We record which listings get clicked, so we can rank them honestly.
- Some outbound links are affiliate links. This is disclosed below.
- We do not sell your personal information to anybody.
Information you give us
Two forms on this site collect personal information, and both are entirely optional:
- Submit a listing — the name, email address, company and website you enter, so we can consider the listing and reply to you about it.
- Advertising enquiry — the name, email address, company, website, budget and message you enter, so we can respond to your enquiry.
We use these details to answer you and to run the directory. We do not add you to a marketing list without your asking, and we do not pass your details to third parties for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our servers keep standard access logs. These can include your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. We use them to keep the site running, to understand which pages are useful, and to identify automated abuse.
We also record when a visitor clicks through to a listed tool, including which position on the page that listing occupied. We do this so the directory can be ordered by what people genuinely find useful rather than by who paid the most. This measurement is about the listing, not about identifying you personally.
Affiliate links — plain disclosure
Some links from this directory to third-party AI products are affiliate links. If you follow one and go on to sign up or buy, we may receive a commission from that company at no additional cost to you. Affiliate arrangements help pay for running the directory.
A commission does not buy a better review or a higher position. Where a listing is a paid placement rather than an editorial one, it is marked as such on the page.
Cookies and third parties
When you leave this site by clicking a listing, the destination company — and any advertising network it uses — will apply its own cookies and its own privacy policy. We have no control over those, and we would encourage you to read the policy of any service you sign up to.
Keeping and removing information
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of listings. Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for running and protecting the site.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will action it.
Children
This directory is intended for adults and for business users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
